Separation, divorce, alimony, custody, and visitation rights – all these issues not only involve legal questions but often deeply personal decisions. Emotional tension, power imbalances, and concerns for the children make family law practice particularly sensitive.
I focus on clear legal advice that provides relief and guidance. Where possible, I work towards amicable, out-of-court solutions because they are often faster, more sustainable, and gentler for all parties. The well-being of the children is in the center of my work. If necessary, I will also represent you in court.
A particular focus of my work is on highly contentious cases and situations involving emotional or psychological violence – such as targeted intimidation, abuse of power, or stalking. I provide comprehensive advice on protection options under the Protection Against Violence Act (Gewaltschutzgesetz) and collaborate with specialized agencies if necessary.
I also offer advice on international family law issues, e.g. for binational couples, prenuptial agreements, or cases involving foreign elements in custody or visitation rights.
I work nationwide. Meetings can be held online via Zoom or in person at my office in Berlin. As a lawyer admitted to practice in Germany and New York, I also offer legal advice in English.
